A kid and cultural trend evangelist, Monica is a data storyteller with extensive experience in transformational markets. Monica is an accomplished researcher, strategist, and innovation leader, constantly seeking hidden trends and treasures with a special focus on youth culture. Her foresights work has helped brands come back from obscurity by tapping into the cultural zeitgeist to quickly innovate and deliver the experiences that consumers crave.

Monica is a multi-lingual Insights senior executive and entrepreneur with over fifteen years of consumer insights, brand strategy, innovation and planning experience in both local and global roles in the US and overseas markets.

She has worked in consumer insights on the corporate side for companies including Unilever, Liz Claiborne/Juicy Couture, Gymboree, and Nickelodeon trying to bring the consumer to life; as well as starting and successfully selling her own startup: CultureBaby. Currently she works at Mattel overseeing Global Consumer Insights to make sure that all kids are being continually heard and shaping the innovation pipeline.

She recently moved with her family from New York to Los Angeles and is very much enjoying the weather and beach (and not the traffic).
